INCIDENT SUMMARY:
On Friday morning, July 22, 2011, Keizer Police Department investigators served a search warrant at 5055 Briarwood Circle North, in Keizer, Oregon, as part of an investigation into the sales of methamphetamine from that address that spanned several months. Investigators seized a small amount of methamphetamine from the site as well as other materials associated with the sales. Arrested in connection with those sales was the resident, Lindsey N Russel-Versteeg. She was charged with 3 counts of unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), 3 counts of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), and 4 counts of Frequenting a Place Where Controlled Substances Are Used. She was further charged with 2 counts of Child Neglect I, for having trafficked methamphetamine when her two minor children were present. The children were not present at the time of the search warrant service.
Also present at the time of the search warrant were Teresa Lea Taylor and Joanna M Farr. Both were charged with Frequenting a Place Where Controlled Substances Are Used, and Ms. Taylor was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine). Ms. Russell-Versteeg and Ms. Taylor were transported to the Marion County Correctional Facility, and Ms. Farr was cited and released at the scene.
