INCIDENT SUMMARY:
The Keizer Police Department working together with the Salem Police Department is releasing additional information and a surveillance photograph from the robbery of Cooper’s Deli & Pub that occurred on December 26, 2010 at about 11:45 p.m. (Reference Keizer PD Incident #10-12444). Keizer Police Detectives have been working closely with investigators from the Salem Police Department and now believe there is a strong likelihood the suspect who committed the robbery of Cooper’s Deli & Pub may be the same suspect who robbed Dede’s Deli in Salem on December 25, 2010 at about 1:53 a.m. (Reference Salem PD #10-12444). Additionally, investigators believe the same suspect may also be the individual who is responsible for the armed robbery of the Ma & Pa Market on December 28, 2010 at about 4:00 p.m. The Ma & Pa Market is located at 800 Highland Avenue NE in Salem (Reference Salem PD #10-51031).
Based on these beliefs and evidence that suggests the suspect may be one in the same, a surveillance photograph from the robbery of Cooper’s Deli & Pub is being released at this time. Investigators hope that by releasing a photograph of the suspect that he will be identified and apprehended by law enforcement authorities.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his twenties (20’s), 6’0” to 6’2”, approximately 200 pounds with black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. The suspect has been armed with a handgun in each of the three robberies and should be considered armed and dangerous.
