INCIDENT SUMMARY:
INCIDENT SUMMARY:
The Keizer Police Department will have extra patrols out on Labor Day Weekend. (Sept. 2 -4th, 2011) Their primary focus will be looking for impaired drivers. Labor Day Weekend has proven to be one of Oregon’s most dangerous times of the year to be on the road and officers are trying to make them safer. Alcohol impairment is a major factor in most of these cases that could be avoided by just making one smart decision, “Don’t Drink and Drive.”
Officers from the Keizer Police Department along with other Marion County agencies will be out in force looking to take the impaired driver off the road. The goal is make our roadways safer for everyone traveling. So please, don’t be a statistic, be responsible and look out for your family and friends. Remember, “DRUNK DRIVING KILLS.”
